Social Media Coordinator

Skills/Qualifications:

  1. University or College degree in social media
  2. At least 2 years of experience in managing social media
  3. Experience in esports or related field is an asset
  4. Fluently bilingual (French and English)
  5. Professional and proven skills in various social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn
  6. Professional skills in using social media tools and platforms such as Hootsuite
  7. Previous customer service experience is an asset
  8. Proven skills of photo/video taking, video editing
  9. Able to read and interpret social media analytics

Characters:

  • Passionate for the gaming industry or being interested and self-motivated in the field of gaming
  • Highly-organized able to complete tasks in order of priority
  • Proven excellent time management skills, productive and work efficiently against deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with follow-up skills (able to find a balance between being productive and making the least mistakes possible)
  • Semi-autonomous (creative on one's own but also collaborative with others to follow the vision of the company when doing social post)

Tasks:

  1. Create social media calendar 2 months in advance, update the content at least 2 weeks before the publishing date
  2. Explore new social channels, potentials and opportunities.
  3. Schedule posts ahead of time using social media tools such as Hootsuite
  4. Manage various social channels for 2 separate accounts (Pipertech and Esports Central)
  5. Create engaging content for all social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn and other related channels
  6. Improve the performance by reading analytics on different channels and adjust the tasks according to the marketing objectives
  7. Take and edit photos/videos
  8. Reach out and develop partnerships with streamers or influencers online, keep record of the influencers
  9. Collaborate with Marketplace specialist and help with online customer service (eg. reply messages timely on social media channels), able to find the right tone to communicate with gamers
  10. Follow the instructions of Marketing Manager, collaborate efficiently with graphic designer
  11. Create reports of social analytics
